Naz Chairs Westminster Social Policy Forum on Drug Misuse

Nov 10

Stimulating morning co-chairing a Westminster Social Policy Forum where participants critically considered the key themes of the Government's independent review of drug addiction and treatment and how these are addressed in the Government's new drug and addiction strategy.

Eminent speakers from the NHS, drug rehabilitation projects, and inspection services have been considering the increasing number of drug related deaths across the UK and what impact the proposed changes to service commissioning and funding will have.
